Chris Lanning

Writer/Producer, Chris is a screenwriter, script consultant, and seasoned storyteller who crafts suspense, horror, and thriller films, navigating high-stakes narratives the way he navigates his cross-cultural background. His produced films include The Untold and Chancy’s Big Night, and he is currently developing a new Taiwanese feature, Stalker, alongside his consulting service, ScreenwritingRx. The Quisling is his latest foray into high-octane thriller territory. Originally from Vancouver, he currently lives and writes in Taiwan. Follow him here.

Shashwati Talukdar

Writer/Producer, Shashwati is a filmmaker, editor, and self-described professional nomad who makes documentary, fiction, and experimental work, restless about form as she is about geography. Her films, including Marriage Cops, The Girl, and Space Dialogues, have screened at Hot Docs, Busan, and the Whitney Biennial, and she is currently working on a fiction feature Khaad [Compost] alongside a cycle of surreal plays about historical memory in Taipei. Taipei Noir is her first foray into audio fiction. Originally from India, she lives and works between India, Taiwan, and the US. To learn more go here.

Rick Monday

Narrator, Rick is an award-winning radio broadcaster, voice actor, and screenwriting judge with over four decades of international media experience. Starting his broadcasting career as a teenager, he later served in the U.S. military in Asia before joining ICRT in Taiwan in 1985, where he became the first non-Taiwanese broadcaster to win the Golden Bell Award for Best Radio Announcer. A voice actor and UCLA-certified screenwriter with 17 scripts, he also serves as a judge for international screenwriting competitions, helping recognize outstanding new voices in film.
